Washington Pam-Pack (Washington, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC), 58-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Washington upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Pam-Pack travel to West Craven (Vanceboro, NC) to play the Eagles in a 3A Coastal bout on Friday, December 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-0. West Craven won 65-57 in their recent league bout against Conley (Greenville, NC)

Next up, the Cardinals play the South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) in a 3A Coastal bout, on Friday, December 16. Jacksonville will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 70-54 non-league loss to Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC).
