Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Klein Collins Tigers (Spring, TX), 86-70 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cypress Springs upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Klein Forest (Houston, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Klein Forest lost 56-55 in their recent non-league bout against Dekaney (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Clear Lake Falcons (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Klein Collins will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 67-66 non-league win over North Shore (Houston, TX).
