Kansas High School Basketball - Lansing holds off Bonner Springs
January 29, 2010: Bonner Springs, KS 66012 Lansing Lions (Lansing, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Bonner Springs Braves (Bonner Springs, KS), 43-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Lansing upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS) to play the Kaws in a Kaw Valley bout on Tuesday, February 2. The Kaws go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Perry-Lecompton lost 49-44 in their recent non-league bout against Jefferson County North (Winchester, KS)
Next up, the Braves play the Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 30. Bonner Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 43-32 non-league loss to St. Marys (St. Marys, KS).
