In Friday's league challenge, the Canterbury Episcopal Cougars (De Soto, TX) basketball squad bounced the visiting Covenant Knights (Dallas, TX), by a count of 71-40.

With the victory, Canterbury Episcopal upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Cambridge (Dallas, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 2A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 12. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Cambridge won 63-42 in their recent league challenge against Waxahachie Prep (Waxahachie, TX)
