Maryland High School Basketball - Oakdale tops Wicomico

Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD), 64-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Oakdale upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The travel to Frederick (Frederick, MD) to play the Cadets in a MVAL - Piedmont bout on Friday, January 3. The Cadets come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Frederick lost 61-50 in their recent non-league bout against Whitman (Bethesda, MD)

Next up, the Indians play the Washington Jaguars (Princess Anne, MD) in a Bayside - South bout, on Monday, January 6. Wicomico will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 83-51 non-league loss to Flowers (Springdale, MD).
