Kansas High School Basketball - Piper nudges Kansas City Christian Academy
January 30, 2010: Kansas City, KS 66109 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS) basketball squad edged the visiting Kansas City Christian Academy Panthers (Prairie Village, KS), by a count of 44-38.
The Pirates (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Turner (Kansas City, KS). The Golden Bears go into the Kaw Valley outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Turner nipped Harmon (Kansas City, KS), 43-34, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Immaculata for a Delaware Valley outing on Tuesday, February 2.
