California High School Basketball - Golden Valley overwhelmed by Valencia

The Valencia Vikings basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Golden Valley Grizzlies to 21 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rio Mesa for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 15. Valencia will meet a Spartans team coming off a 53-47 league win over Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-12.

Next up, the Grizzlies play the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Golden Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 58-49 league win over Hart (Newhall, CA).
