The West Springfield Terriers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting East Longmeadow Spartans to 53 in the Terriers league victory on Friday.

The Terriers now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Holyoke for a Valley Wheel contest on Tuesday, January 31. West Springfield will meet a Knights team coming off a 56-49 league win over East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Knights record now stands at 10-0.

With the defeat, East Longmeadow moves to 6-3 on the year. The Spartans host Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Saturday, January 28. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 13-1. Coginchaug Regional lost 50-37 in their recent league match against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)
