Minnesota High School Football - LeSueur-Henderson succumbs to Sibley East
October 13, 2006: Arlington, MN 55307 Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting LeSueur-Henderson Giants (LeSueur, MN), 24-16 in a league challenge.
The Wolverines now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mayer Lutheran for a Minnesota River challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Sibley East will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, LeSueur-Henderson moves to 3-4 on the campaign. The Giants host Norwood-Young America (Norwood-Young America, MN) to clash with the Raiders in a Minnesota River challenge on Wednesday, October 18. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Norwood-Young America won 26-13 in their recent league challenge against Belle Plaine/Holy Family Academy (Belle Plaine, MN)
