The Summit Academy Dragons (Romulus, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Ford Academy for Creative Studies Mustangs (Detroit, MI), 40-21 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Dragons (4-7) will now prepare for their test against University Prep (Detroit, MI). The Panthers go into the Charter School test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, University Prep topped PEC Prep (Detroit, MI), 43-29, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ecorse for a Michigan Metro test on Tuesday, February 7. Ford Academy for Creative Studies will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 40-26 non-league win over Highland Park (Highland Park, MI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-4.
