The East Tomcats (Aurora, IL) basketball nipped the host Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL), 74-67 in Friday's league test.

The Tomcats (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Lancers go into the Upstate Eight test with a 6-15 record. In their last test, Lake Park got by Larkin (Elgin, IL), 56-50, in a league test.

The Sabres now own a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to York for a West Suburban - Silver test on Saturday, February 21.
