California High School Basketball - Granite Bay fells Nevada Union
January 12, 2010: Grass Valley, CA 95945 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) and the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), saw Granite Bay's basketball squad overcome Nevada Union by a count of 57-48.
With the victory, Granite Bay upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to play the Thunder in a Sierra Foothill challenge on Tuesday, January 19. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Rocklin lost 48-46 in their recent league challenge against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA)
Next up, the Miners play the Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA) in a Sierra Foothill challenge, on Thursday, January 14. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 76-41 league win over Roseville (Roseville, CA).
