September 5, 2014: Lyons, GA 30436 In Friday's non-league game, the Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA) football team smashed the host Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA), by a score of 42-0.
The Indians (3-0) will now prepare for their game against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers come into the AA Region 2 game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, McIntosh County Academy was ripped by Liberty County (Hinesville, GA), 45-14, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Beach for a non-league game on Friday, September 12. Toombs County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
