The California Grizzlies basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Northgate Broncos to 49 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granada for a East Bay contest on Tuesday, January 5. California will confront a Matadors team coming off a 55-53 non-league loss to American (Fremont, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 4-8.

The Broncos (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA). The Red Devils enter the Diablo Valley contest with a 0-9 record.
