Texas High School Baseball - Ennis gets by Forney
March 8, 2014: Forney, TX 75126 Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Forney Jackrabbits (Forney, TX), 8-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ennis upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-4. Lake Ridge lost 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Oakridge (Arlington, TX)
With the defeat, Forney falls to 2-3 on the season. The Jackrabbits host Highland Park (Dallas, TX) to battle the Scots in a 4A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Scots come into the test with a record of 5-4. Highland Park lost 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Keller (Keller, TX)
