In Monday's non-league outing, the Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL) basketball squad edged the visiting Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL), by a count of 70-65.

The Dragons (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hardee (Wauchula, FL). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Hardee was tipped by Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL), 83-77, in a non-league outing.
