The Smoky Hill Buffaloes basketball team (Aurora, CO), was nudged 56-51 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Cherry Creek Bruins (Greenwood Village, CO)

The Bruins now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Overland for a 5A/4A Centennial battle on Friday, January 13. Cherry Creek will meet a Trailblazers team coming off a 65-53 league loss to Mullen (Denver, CO). The Trailblazers record now stands at 4-7.
