Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Point Pleasant Knights (Point Pleasant, WV) and the host Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), saw Point Pleasant's basketball squad knock off Hoover by a score of 63-50.

With the victory, Point Pleasant improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV) to battle the Rebels in a Cardinal challenge on Friday, January 21. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 5-10.

Next up, the Huskies battle the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) in a Cardinal challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 72-51 non-league win over Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV).
