The Minden Crimson Tide basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Haughton Buccaneers to 44 in the Crimson Tide non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crimson Tide now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodlawn for a 4A District 1 contest on Saturday, December 8. Minden will confront a Knights team coming off a 74-41 non-league win over Doyline (Doyline, LA). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, Haughton moves to 3-3 on the year.
