The Ferndale Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Lake Orion Dragons to 56 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Park for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Ferndale will confront a Knights team coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Athens (Troy, MI). The Knights record now stands at 2-5.

The Dragons (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI). The Maples enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Seaholm nudged Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI), 51-46, in a non-league contest.
