The Hawks now possess a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lennard for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 28. Armwood will face a Longhorns team coming off a 7-4 league loss to St. Petersburg Catholic (St. Petersburg, FL). The Longhorns record now stands at 0-4.

Game Summary
The Hawks scratched out 2 runs in the second inning and got good pitching from three hurlers to edge King 2-1 at home. Robert Benincasa struck out 11 in five innings of work to get the win, and Zack Powers struck out the only two batters he faced in the seventh to get the save. Billy Farrell went 2-3 with a double to pace the offense, which could muster only four hits in the game.
