September 15, 2006: Chicago, IL 60637 Mount Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they observed their football squad topple the visiting Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL), 31-0 in a league challenge.
The Caravan now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leo for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. Mount Carmel will confront a Lions squad coming off a 43-14 league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Brother Rice moves to 3-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to confront the Friars in a Chicago Catholic - Blue challenge on Friday, September 22. The Friars go into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Fenwick won 40-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hales Franciscan (Chicago, IL)
