La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR), 10-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, La Jolla Country Day upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Torreys travel to Culver City (Culver City, CA) to battle the Centaurs in a non-league test on Monday, April 6. The Centaurs come into the test with a record of 4-4.
