October 17, 2008: Madison, MS 39110 The Provine Rams football team (Jackson, MS), was knocked off 28-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS)
The Jaguars (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Chargers come into the 5A Region 2 challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Grenada was knocked off by Greenville-Weston (Greenville, MS), 20-14, in a league challenge.
The Rams now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Murrah for a 5A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, October 23. Provine will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 23-21 league loss to Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-4.
