New Hampshire High School Basketball - Hollis-Brookline can't hold off Oyster River
January 6, 2009: Hollis, NH 03049 The Oyster River Bobcats basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers to 33 in the Bobcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Milford for a Class I contest on Friday, January 9. Oyster River will meet a Spartans team coming off a 58-40 league win over Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.
The Cavaliers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH). The Comanches come into the Class I contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Coe-Brown Academy edged Souhegan (Amherst, NH), 51-46, in a league contest.
