Texas High School Football - King victorious over South San Antonio
October 15, 2010: San Antonio, TX 78224 In Friday's league match, the visiting King Mustangs football squad scored a good 24-16 victory over the South San Antonio Bobcats.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 match, on Friday, October 22. King will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Owls enter the match with a 0-7 record after their 31-7 league loss to Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX).
The Bobcats (0-7) will now prepare for their match against East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Hornets enter the 5A Region IV District 28 match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, East Central thwarted Southwest (San Antonio, TX), 31-24, in a league match.
