California High School Basketball - St. Mary's thwarts St. Joseph Notre Dame
January 16, 2009: Albany, CA 94706 The St. Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) basketball felled the visiting St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (Alameda, CA), 54-34 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Justin-Siena (Napa, CA). The Braves go into the non-league test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Justin-Siena went down by Branson (Ross, CA), 45-41, in a league test.
The Pilots now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salesian for a Bay Shore test on Wednesday, January 21. St. Joseph Notre Dame will clash with a Pride squad coming off a 56-40 league loss to Albany (Albany, CA). The Pride record now stands at 9-6.
