Tennessee High School Basketball - Liberty Tech Magnet thwarts Warren Central
December 30, 2008: Jackson, TN 37101 The Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders (Jackson, TN) basketball felled the visiting Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY), 67-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Munford (Munford, TN). The Cougars go into the AAA District 13 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Munford went down by McClellan (Little Rock, AR), 72-53, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Raytown South for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 31. Warren Central will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 77-72 non-league loss to Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-3.
