The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Briarwood Christian for a 5A Region 4 contest on Friday, September 5. Shelby County will play a Lions squad coming off a 15-14 non-league win over Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
