Georgia High School Basketball - Columbia prevails Southwest DeKalb
December 13, 2008: Decatur, GA 30034 Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA), 77-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Columbia upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Eagles host Clarkston (Clarkston, GA) to encounter the Angoras in a 5A-AAA bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Angoras go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Clarkston lost 64-52 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeside (Atlanta, GA)
Next up, the Panthers encounter the Marist War Eagles (Atlanta, GA) in a 6-AAAA bout, on Tuesday, December 16. Southwest DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The War Eagles go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 59-48 league win over Lithonia (Lithonia, GA).
