South Carolina High School Football - Socastee sneaks past St. James
September 26, 2014: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 The Socastee Braves football squad scored 17 points and restricted the host St. James to 14 in the Braves non-league victory on Friday.
The Braves now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carolina Forest for a AAAA Region VI battle on Friday, October 10. Socastee will face a Panthers squad coming off a 49-19 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
Coming up next, the face the Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC) in a AAA Region VII battle, on Friday, October 3. St. James will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 20-3 non-league loss to Loris (Loris, SC).
