California High School Basketball - Golden Valley falls to Saugus

The Saugus Centurions basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Golden Valley Grizzlies to 42 in the Centurions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Centurions now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon for a Foothill contest on Friday, January 27. Saugus will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 78-27 league win over Hart (Newhall, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 16-4.

The Grizzlies (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Valencia (Valencia, CA). The Vikings enter the Foothill contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Valencia ran past West Ranch (Valencia, CA), 58-51, in a league contest.
