The Fitch Falcons football team (Groton, CT), was beaten 53-28 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT)

The Redmen (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Lancers go into the Eastern Connecticut - Medium outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Waterford went down by Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT), 49-21, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Fitch moves to 0-3 on the season. The Falcons host East Lyme (East Lyme, CT) to confront the Vikings in a Eastern Connecticut - Large outing on Friday, October 3. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 0-3. East Lyme lost 47-8 in their recent non-league outing against Windham (Willimantic, CT)
