Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Clayton Valley Eagles (Concord, CA), 76-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Alameda upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 10. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Ponderosa lost 39-38 in their recent non-league bout against El Dorado (Placerville, CA)

Next up, the Eagles encounter the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 15. Clayton Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 71-57 non-league loss to Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA).
