The Memphis Yellowjackets (Memphis, MI) basketball edged the visiting Port Hope Bluestars (Port Hope, MI), 40-33 in Friday's league game.

The Yellowjackets (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Dryden (Dryden, MI). The Cardinals enter the North Central Thumb game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Dryden edged Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI), 68-34, in a league game.
