October 4, 2008: Avon, CT 06001 The Avon Falcons routed the visiting Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers football squad by a margin of 55-21 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Hyde Leadership Howling Wolves (Hamden, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 11. Avon will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Howling Wolves enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 32-0 league win over Morgan (Clinton, CT).
