Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Norwalk upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Lancers travel to Bellflower (Bellflower, CA) to battle the Buccaneers in a Suburban test on Wednesday, March 23. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Bellflower won 12-5 in their recent non-league test against Gladstone (Gladstone, OR)

With the defeat, Western falls to 2-4 on the season. The Pioneers host La Quinta (Westminster, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league battle on Friday, March 18. The Aztecs enter the battle with a record of 4-2. La Quinta won 10-9 in their recent non-league battle against Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA)
