The Coronado Islanders volleyball team (Coronado, CA), went down 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA)

The Lancers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Catalina (Tucson, AZ). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Catalina defeated Sweetwater (National City, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Islanders encounter the Christian Patriots (El Cajon, CA) in a Central challenge, on Tuesday, March 29. Coronado will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hoover (San Diego, CA).
