Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) and the visiting Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA), saw San Marcos's basketball squad trounce Vincent Memorial by a score of 72-40.

With the victory, San Marcos improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Del Norte lost 74-49 in their recent non-league challenge against La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA)
