The Westlake Thunder topped the visiting Murray Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Thunder now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Skyline for a 4A Region 7 test on Tuesday, October 18. Westlake will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hillcrest (Midvale, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 23-3.

The Spartans (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region 7 contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Herriman fell by Olympus (Salt Lake City, UT), 2-0, in a league contest.
