The Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX) football defeated the host Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), 45-21 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lions face the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Tyler will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 11-2 record after their 54-34 non-league win over Rider (Wichita Falls, TX).
