Massachusetts High School Basketball - St. Mark's fells Friends' Central
January 15, 2012: Southborough, MA 01772 St. Mark's Lions (Southborough, MA) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Friends' Central (Wynnewoode, PA), 67-57 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Mark's upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Rivers (Weston, MA) to face the Red Wings in a Independent School game on Wednesday, January 18. The Red Wings enter the game with a record of 6-3. Rivers won 57-33 in their recent non-league game against Boston Trinity Academy (Boston, MA)
With the defeat, Friends' Central moves to 9-5 on the year. The host Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA) to face the Lions in a Friends Schools game on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions enter the game with a record of 13-3. Academy of the New Church won 51-47 in their recent non-league game against Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY)
