The Columbia Central Lions basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Spring Hill Raiders to 62 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a AAA District 8 contest on Tuesday, February 3. Columbia Central will meet a Rebels team coming off a 72-61 league loss to Lawrence County (Lawrenceburg, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 16-9.

The Raiders (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hickman County (Centerville, TN). The Bulldogs enter the AA District 10 contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Hickman County was defeated by Marshall County (Lewisburg, TN), 76-43, in a league contest.
