The Lynwood Knights (Lynwood, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA), 77-74 in Friday's league test.

The Knights (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Warren (Downey, CA). The Bears go into the San Gabriel Valley test with a 15-8 record. In their last test, Warren got by Dominguez (Compton, CA), 59-53, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 3-19 record. They take the field next when they travel to Downey for a San Gabriel Valley test on Wednesday, February 2. Paramount will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 59-57 league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 21-2.
