Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Forest Hills holds off Conemaugh Valley
February 9, 2011: Johnstown, PA 15906 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Forest Hills Rangers (Sidman, PA) and the host Conemaugh Valley Bluejays (Johnstown, PA), saw Forest Hills's basketball squad hold off Conemaugh Valley by a count of 52-47.
With the victory, Forest Hills upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Rangers host Somerset (Somerset, PA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. Somerset won 68-59 in their recent league challenge against Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA)
Next up, the Bluejays play the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge, on Monday, February 14. Conemaugh Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 66-25 non-league win over Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA).
