Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Brookwood Broncos (Snellville, GA), 75-68 in a league bout.

With the win, Central Gwinnett upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Black Knights host Parkview (Lilburn, GA) to play the Panthers in a 8-AAAAA bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Parkview lost 62-53 in their recent league bout against South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA)

Next up, the Broncos play the Westwood Wildcats (Camilla, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Brookwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 34-29 non-league loss to Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA).
