In Saturday's league contest, the Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), by a margin of 16-0.

With the triumph, Valley View moves its record to 15-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Monday, May 6. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 0-9.
