In Wednesday's league match, the host Shade Panthers basketball team scored a good 45-34 triumph over the Meyersdale Red Raiders.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Salisbury Elk Lick Elks (Salisbury, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Southern match, on Friday, January 16. Shade will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.
