Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Kennedy Memorial Mustangs (Iselin, NJ), 41-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Middlesex upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ) to play the Owls in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Highland Park lost 38-24 in their recent league bout against Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Kennedy Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
