The West Point Pointers basketball team (West Point, VA), was overwhelmed 41-20 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA)

The Trojans now possess a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield for a AA Bay Rivers battle on Tuesday, February 5. New Kent will battle a Packers team coming off a 53-30 league win over York (Yorktown, VA). The Packers record now stands at 12-6.

The Pointers (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against King William (King William, VA). The Cavaliers come into the A Tidewater battle with a 2-10 record.
